The Beginning

My name is Cha Yang and I started making my own soaps and lotions because I started having allergies from the soaps at the store. I went to the ER many times and have seen the allergist but no one can tell me anything. I thought I would have to live the rest of my life like that - especially during the winter. I spent night after night scratching myself and no over-the-counter medicine could help me. Last year I told a friend about my problem and she said, “You might just need to stop using the commercial soaps and lotions. Handmade is the best for your body, you know.”

So I did, and ever since then I feel like a new person. At first, I just made the soaps and lotions for myself and my family, but when people started requesting more, I found out that I enjoy making them so much, I started making a bunch to sell. Now here I am!

All my soaps are cold-processed, they are also carefully hand-designed by me, hand-cut and shaved, they take 4 to 6 weeks to fully cure, and then carefully hand-packaged by me. I think you will feel the time and love I put into my beautiful soaps. That is my secret ingredient!
